Description

Devil’s Claw is a perennial plant that grows wild in the barren and sandy soils of Africa and Madagascar, its name due to the presence of acorns covering its fruits.
The main active ingredient of Arpagophyte is a glycoside called harpagoside. There are also two other glycosides, procumbide and harpagide, flavonoids and triterpenic acids. Thanks to these important anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties it can be very useful to reduce the amount of cortisone commonly used in the treatment of rheumatism.
The main use relates to inflammatory problems and degenerative infections of the motor system.
