UROCISTAL

Cystitis is an acute, subacute or chronic inflammation of the bladder which is usually associated with a bacterial infection.

UROCISTAL is a dietary supplement indicated for the fight against inflammation of the urinary tract and cystitis, as it combines the action of Crunberry and D-Mannose, preventing pathogenic bacteria from adhering to the walls of the urinary tract.

The action of Crunberry and D-Mannose is complemented by Uva Ursis, a plant with diuretic and antibacterial properties. Its active ingredient is arbutin, a glycoside that breaks down into glucose and hydroquinone on contact with urine. Thus hydroquinone neutralizes bacterial activity by increasing the hydrophobicity of bacteria and facilitating the drainage of body fluids. Uva Ursis also contains tannins and flavonoids: the former have a strong anti-inflammatory and diuretic action, while the latter are known for their natural antioxidant action.

In addition, the antioxidant action is enhanced by the action of two other ingredients, which are ascorbic acid and copper. The antioxidant and antibacterial action of the previous ingredients is combined with the diuretic, astringent and anti-inflammatory properties of Orthosiphon, Juniper, Spirea and Verga d’oro.
